2016
In 2016, we participated in Vogue Knitting Live for the first time. This event catalyzed our delving into pattern design, building a relationship with Neighborhood Fiber Company, and being able to support and spread money around to other Black artists and makers. However, VKLive was not the only meaningful thing we have done this year. Rather we have continued to share knitting through knitting meet ups (including one in Brooklyn, NY), community events (including the Selby Jazz Festival, Rondo Days, several Million Artist Movement Power Gatherings), and school programs.

2017
In 2017, we look forward to further living cooperative economics on our path to liberation. We have begun already to workshop about cooperative economics. In addition, a white affinity group has begun to organize around regeneration and the redistribution of money, resources, and access. We are also using our facebook group to engage deeper and further grow our virtual community. Thank you so much for being on this journey with us. Liberation is going to feel so good.
Power and Love,
